“When you are old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep; How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face.”W. B. Yeats
God sent him into the world so as to learn and see through the eyes of a child. What does a child expect? What will a child do to survive? Jesus had to learn about the kingdom of man. Man knew nothing of the kingdom of God. Is this what Jesus tried to share with mankind? Joseph was in the middle of morals and customs of the human world. Then he found himself in the world of God and his Angels. I imagine Joseph as a laid back kind of guy who was trying to make it a world that at times seemed utterly mad. He accepted his task from Gabriel and did what he had been instructed to do. Keep the Son of God safe as the earthly father. What a job he had!

“Silent is the Night, Holy is My Life: What a fun-loving adventure of the chosen father of Jesus. I love the title; however, I feel like the story was so vivid in its creation that I actually felt like I was listening to Joseph himself. Funny, lighthearted, and most of all lots of love.”
